Welcome to The Dad Letter Club

By subscribing to our service, placing an order, or using our website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Overview of Service

The Dad Letter Club is a monthly physical mail subscription service. Each month, subscribers receive a curated envelope containing a heartfelt letter, collectible stickers, conversation cards, a recipe, a Spotify playlist recommendation, an activity idea, a reflection prompt, and a surprise paper good. Envelopes are addressed to the subscriber's child and shipped to the address provided at the time of purchase.

2. Subscription Plans and Pricing

We offer the following subscription plans:

• Monthly: $11.00 per month
• 3-Month: $30.00 (one-time payment)
• 6-Month: $60.00 (one-time payment)
• Annual: $99.00 (one-time payment)

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Free shipping is included on all subscriptions within the United States. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time; however, any price changes will not affect active, pre-paid subscriptions.

3. No Refunds Policy

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Due to the physical, consumable, and personalized nature of our product, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits for any subscription plan, including monthly, multi-month, and annual plans. This policy applies regardless of whether the subscription has been partially or fully fulfilled.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you will not be entitled to a refund for any reason, including but not limited to: dissatisfaction with the contents of any envelope, failure to use or open the subscription materials, change of mind after purchase, or duplicate purchases made in error.

If you believe there has been a billing error or if your envelope was lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at the email address provided below, and we will work to resolve the issue on a case-by-case basis.

4. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Monthly subscriptions will automatically renew each month until canceled. Multi-month and annual plans are one-time payments and do not auto-renew. You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time before the next billing cycle by contacting us directly. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial-month refunds will be issued.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Envelopes are shipped via USPS First-Class Mail to the address provided at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal service disruptions, incorrect addresses provided by the subscriber, or circumstances beyond our control. If your envelope does not arrive within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.

6. Gift Subscriptions

Gift subscriptions are available for all plan tiers. The purchaser is responsible for providing accurate shipping information for the gift recipient. Gift subscriptions are non-refundable and non-transferable. The no-refund policy in Section 3 applies equally to gift purchases.

7. Intellectual Property

All content included in The Dad Letter Club envelopes — including but not limited to letters, artwork, designs, stickers, recipes, and curated playlists — is the property of The Dad Letter Club or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Subscribers may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any materials received through the subscription without prior written consent.

8. Privacy

We collect personal information necessary to fulfill your subscription, including your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors, and we do not store credit card information directly. Our full Privacy Policy is available on our website.

9. User Representations

By subscribing to The Dad Letter Club, you represent and warrant that: you are at least 18 years of age; the information you provide is accurate and complete; you have the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to make the purchase; and you understand and agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the no-refund policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Dad Letter Club, its owner, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service or the contents of any envelope. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Dad Letter Club and its owner, Ryan McLaughlin, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the service or any violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ramsey County, Minnesota.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of the service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Dad Letter Club regarding the use of our service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
